We are excited for our annual flower sale to begin! We will be selling hanging baskets as well as scoops of black or brown mulch from Indian Trail’s Greenhouse & Nursery.  This is one of our main fundraisers for the new playground at Kalida Elementary and for fun activities for the kids at school.  Last year, our kids sold over 1,500 baskets, which was awesome.  This year our goal for the kids is to sell 1,600 baskets and 125 scoops of mulch. We will be using an online thermometer to show the kids their progress. 

 

Each 10” hanging basket will be $20.00.  Hanging baskets can be redeemed at Indian Trail Nursery Main St. Greenhouse from May 1, 2021 to June 1, 2021.  You can change your mind once you get there if something else catches your eye.  If the item you bought online is not available then you can contact us for a refund or you can pick out another type of hanging basket.  All their flowers and baskets are beautiful.

We will still have scoops of brown or black mulch for sale.  Indian Trail's mulch is double processed pure hardwood bark (no recycled yard waste or tree trimmings).  Each scoop will cover about 165 square feet at 2-2.5" thickness.  Black mulch will be $45.00 per scoop and brown mulch will be $40.00 per scoop.   Mulch can be picked up from May 15, 2021 to June 30, 2021 at Indian Trail Garden Center St. Rt. 65 near the water tower.  Bring a truck or trailer for them to load your mulch.

We have created this online store for your convenience and ours.  Choose any of the baskets online for the purchase and you can choose whatever you want at the greenhouse.  It doesn't have to be the same basket that is on your printout.  

To shop:

• From there you will be guided to the types of hanging baskets and mulch.

• Click on the type of hanging basket you want and the quantity.    

• Click on Add To Cart

• Do the same for the mulch.  Quantity is how many scoops you will be picking up.

• Hit view cart when you are ready to checkout.

• Click on Checkout

• WE DO NOT SHIP.  You will have to go to the Nursery or Greenhouse to pick up your items.

PAYMENT: You can pay by credit/debit card or by PayPal.  If you are using a credit/debit card, there is a spot for you to fill in shipping.  Fill in your shipping address but REMINDER that you will still have go to one of the two places to retrieve your purchases.  Make sure that you print or save your receipt for pick-up!

 

Make sure you make a copy of your receipt to bring along for you to redeem your items.  Give it to one of the workers at the Indian Trail Nursery Main St. Greenhouse (300 N Main St.) for the hanging baskets and they will guide you in the right direction.  Or if you get mulch then you will pick up at Indian Trail Garden Center (205 St. Rt. 65).

We will also have a Cash and Carry on May 8, 2021.  This will be held at Kalida High School in the parking lot.  If you get items off the website you will need to go to Indian Trail to redeem your purchases and not at the Cash and Carry.

After fundraising and donations, we have around $8,000 to raise for the playground.  We appreciate your support!
